Year 3 and 4 Bees

During this exciting topic we have made collages and clay sculptures of  Honey Bees and learned about the different jobs bees do in a hive.	We looked at what may be causing a negative impact on our bee population. We learned that "colony collapse disease" may be the cause of the decline.	As a class we made a "bee cafe" to help attract bees.
Finally we dramatised the implications of being stung by a bee. We looked for the symptoms of an allergic reaction and were able to give first aid.
