Bees
Can you tell which ones we painted?
Mrs Pratt showed us how to blend water colours, then we tried ourselves.
We learned that a bee is an insect and all insects have a head, a thorax and an abdomen.
They always have 6 legs.

Snails

We went hunting for snails but it was too dry so we couldn't find any. After it rained there were lots about, we wondered where they had been hiding.

Spiders

These spiders were made with hand prints and googly eyes. Then we made silky webs for them all. We learned a spider is not an insect. Do you know why?

Butterflies

We learned all about the life cycle of butterflies. We learned that metamorphosis means change and that's what happens to caterpillars when they change into butterflies.

These are some of the tricky words we liked.
